Drive your own speed boat (we no longer do the waverunners) for 45 minutes through the mangrove channel (the oceans jungle) to the world's 2nd largest reef. Snorkel there for 45 minutes and see lots of fish. Then you drive back again. This is one of Cancun's most popular tours.

We took the Cancun Jungle Tour ourselves (see us on the left?) and it was a lot of fun! Back then, they used wave runners instead of the new speedboats, but it was still a good time for the money.

After cruising through the lagoon in your speed boat, you get to the best snorkeling area in Cancun for some snorkeling time at Angel Reef or another nearby section of the world's second largest coral reef. Then you hop back in and head on back. It's something different, and a great time!

Make your reservations well in advance. This tour sells out way ahead of time! Don't be disappointed when you get here!

Schedule: 7 times daily at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours.

Includes: 1.5 hours driving your own speedboat, 45 minutes of snorkeling, English speaking guide, Life vest, snorkeling equipment, bottled water.

Departs from: Royal Sands Marina, across from the Royal Sands hotel in the Cancun Hotel Zone.

Notes: Bring ecologically sensitive sunscreen and a hat for sun protection. $5 USD Marine Park conservation fee/dock fee is not included in the price. 2 people per boat. Driver must be 18 years of age.
