Chichen Itza is the largest
and most impressive of the Mayan Ruins near Cancun. It is a must-see
on every tourist's agenda when they come to Cancun. If you're only going
to see one Mayan Ruins while you're here, this
is the one. Our private tours will save you about 3 hrs of extra time being
spent on the bus. Please see the slide show below to get a little better idea.

Our Chichen Itza Private Express tour takes your
group directly from your hotel to Chichen Itza. Depart before by 9 am and
arrive before all the tour buses . It will easily save you 3 hours
and you will see more. We suggest for a day tour you depart
between 7-10 am . If you want to take in the night show at
Chichen Itza then depart Cancun at noon and leave Chichen Itza at 8:30pm.
The trip each way takes about 2-1/2 hours.
The Private Express w/Lunch & Ik Kil (an
ecological park) generally departs Cancun at 8 am . We go directly to Chichen
Itza then to Ik Kil for a swim (fantastic "open to the sky, blue cenote" swim
hole) and a buffet lunch.
The Private Express w/Lunch & Ik Kil & Ek Balam
is the same as above but we add on a visit to the archeological site
Ek Balam. Ek Balam has only been open to the public for 2 years. Check out

Chichen Itza Private Express includes:
Round trip air-conditioned transportation exclusively
for your group
English speaking driver, entrance fee to C-itza and toll
road fees
DOES NOT
include guide in C-Itza (approx $60 USD), lunch for the driver or a tip if warranted.
ITINERARY: It is a 2 ½ hour ride there.
We suggest a 7 – 10 am departure (tour buses arrive around 12 noon and for
me I would leave early at 7 or 8). Stay there for 2.5 – 3 hrs. Walk in the
town, buy a few gifts, have lunch at the Mayaland hotel, head back to Cancun early or go to Valladolid to see
a small town. It is a great place to take a few photos in the park. It is
up to you! (You get the vehicle for 11 hours. Extra hours are $30 p/hour.)
OPTION: If you want to see the light
& sound show that starts at 7pm you must depart at noon**. This gives you
almost 3 hrs in the ruins. 5:30 pm , it is now dark you can enjoy dinner
and or drinks at the Mayaland hotel or wander around the town. Return for
the 7pm show, head back around 8:30pm and arrive into Cancun at 11pm.
**If you want to depart early than
11:00AM for the light
and sound show please add $30 per hr.
Priv Express w/Lunch & Ik Kil includes:
The same as above plus a buffet lunch (no drinks) and
entrance into Ik Kil
You should not depart later than 9:30am or you will be
rushed
Buffet includes Tossed and Russian salads, rice and beans,
Grilled fish, Chichen in an orange sauce, pork loin done in a classic Mayan
sauce, beef tips, fettuccini primavera, fresh fruit, desserts and tea or
coffee. Does not include tip or other drinks.
All travel agents in Cancun charge $75-$79 for the public
bus tour to C-Itza and Ik Kil!!
Cenote Ik-Kil is not offered on the public tour we offer.
Priv Express w/Lunch & Ik Kil & Ek Balam ruins
include:
The same as above plus entrance fees into Ek Balam (no
one in Cancun offers this trip)
DOES NOT include guide at Ek Balam (approx $20 for the
group)
SUGGESTED ITINERARY: We suggest a 7am
departure (no later than 8am ) to arrive at C-Itza at 9:30 before the crowds
and heat. Stay there for 2.5 hrs then go to Ik Kil which is minutes away.
Jump into the cenote, enjoy the gardens and after sit down and enjoy the
buffet. Depart for Ek Balam around 1:30pm and arrive at 2:45pm . Guided
tour takes about 1 hr including climbing the ruins. Take a few photos and
depart around 4:15pm and arrive into Cancun around 6:00pm. You can easily
do this tour faster and return around 5pm if you like.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Tours are made in air-conditioned vans, not buses.
Therefore, the maximum number of people to a vehicle is 14. If you
have more people in your group, you will need two vehicles. The transportation
cost is fixed - that's why more people in a vehicle makes the price per
person go down.
This tour requires a 25% deposit at the time of booking
via Credit Card or PayPal.
There is no cancellation fee if cancelled or changed
before noon the day before the tour.
