You and your group go directly from your hotel to the Mayan ruins of Tulum and then to Xel-ha Mexico. The private tours are for your group only and therefore you plan the day. We just make suggestions. Private tours will save your family about 2.5 hrs compared to the public tour. This time can be used to explore more or sleep in a bit.

Once at Xel Ha, you'll have the remainder of the day to relax, explore, and swim at your leisure. You'll also get to enjoy the all-inclusive food and drink package at the park.

Legend: Price per Adult (Over 55" Tall) Price per Child (40" - 55" Tall) Kids under 40" tall are free. 10 people max per vehicle. If you are more than 10 people, you will need 2 vans. To figure price per person for more than 10, just split the number of adults you have in half. If you have between 11 and 14 people, e-mail us - we do have one 14-passenger van.

All toll road and parking fees, entrance fees & taxes for Xel-ha Mexico (and Tulum if you select that tour)
Note: there is a small federal fee for video cams at Tulum
All inclusive package at Xel-ha: all food from 5 restaurants and ice cream shop, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), towels, lockers & snorkeling equipment. A deposit is required at Xel-Ha (ID, room key or $20 usd. I always give them $20 usd as I would rather that get lost than my ID).

Not Included:

Hotel Pickup in Cozumel (only on the mainland).
Ferry tickets from Cozumel (Cozumel tour begins and ends at the Playa Del Carmen ferry terminal.)
Optional: Swim With Dolphins

Itinerary for Tulum/Xel-ha tours:

Hotel pick up is up to you but we suggest 7-8 am

We suggest going first to Xel-Ha only for the buffet breakfast and to get your lockers and snorkel gear. Eat your breakfast, jump back into the vehicle and head to Tulum. IF you already ate breakfast go to Tulum first. Just tell the driver what your plans are, otherwise he heads for Tulum first.

Once in Tulum we strongly recommend that you hire a very knowledgable guide for around $30 usd for a 90 minute tour (you'll get a lot more out of your visit), but you are always free to just wonder around on your own. If you spend 2 hrs there it is plenty of time. Then to Xel-Ha where you can swim/snorkel, float down the lazy river, walk through the jungle, eat, drink or relax in a hammock. Once inside Xel-Ha all your food & beverages are free. As much as you want! Tips are NOT included.

Summer hours the park closes at 6 pm (5 pm in winter) and the drive back takes about 95 minutes.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

DEPOSIT ONLY - This tour requires only a 20% deposit when booking - the remainder is paid in cash on the day of the tour. If you want to pay in full, you can request it in the special instructions when booking, but the tour operator will charge a 3% surcharge for payments in full to cover half the credit card costs, as these are not factored into the price of the tour.
NO CANCELLATION FEE - There is no charge for cancelling or changing the date of this tour as long as you cancel before noon the day before the tour. No risk - no worries.
