You and your group go directly from your hotel to Xel-ha Park. The private tours
are for your group only and therefore you plan the day. We just make suggestions.
Private tours will save your family about 2.5 hrs compared to the public tour.
This time can be used to explore more or sleep in a bit.
Once inside Xel Ha, you'll have the whole day to
relax, swim, snorkel, and explore at your leisure. Float the
lazy river, relax in hammocks, and eat and drink to your heart's
content with the park's all-inclusive package.

package at Xel-ha: all food from 5 restaurants and ice cream shop, drinks
(alcoholic and non-alcoholic), towels, lockers & snorkeling equipment. A
deposit is required at Xel-Ha (ID, room key or $20 usd. I always give them
$20 usd as I would rather that get lost than my ID).
Not Included:
Hotel Pickup
in Cozumel (only on the mainland).
Ferry tickets
from Cozumel (Cozumel tour begins and ends at the Playa Del Carmen ferry
terminal.)
Hotel pick up is up to you but we suggest 7-8 am.
Then you can be at the park when it opens at 9:00AM for the best snorkeling,
and to get the best spots before the tour buses arrive. Then you can
get breakfast (included with the all-inclusive package) at Xel-Ha too.
At Xel-Ha you can swim/snorkel, float down the lazy river, walk through the
jungle, eat, drink or relax in a hammock. Once inside Xel-Ha all your food
& beverages are free. As much as you want! Tips are NOT included.
Summer hours the park closes at 6 pm (5 pm in winter) and
the drive back takes about 95 minutes.
Kids:
All ages welcome. Kids prices apply to kids 40" to 55" tall,
regardless of age. Kids under 40" tall are free.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
DEPOSIT ONLY
- This tour requires only a 20% deposit when booking - the remainder is paid in cash on the day of the tour.
If you want to pay in full, you can request it in the special
instructions when booking, but the tour operator will charge a 3%
surcharge for payments in full to cover half the credit card costs, as
these are not factored into the price of the tour.
NO CANCELLATION FEE
- There is no charge for cancelling or changing the date of this tour as
long as you cancel before noon the day before the tour. No risk
- no worries.
