Embark on a true Mayan adventure! This is one of the ultimate snorkeling excursions in Cancun. Explore the aquatic wonderland that is the Riviera Maya, as we snorkel in three unique ecosystems - coral reefs, underground rivers, and Mayan cenotes - all in one tour!

We will journey south of Cancun to the heart of the Riviera Maya, where we will first swim and snorkel in an open cenote - a sinkhole that opens into the vast underground river system of the former Mayan empire. You'll be amazed at how crystal clear this fresh water is!

Your friendly tour guide will teach you about the significance of the cenotes, and how they were, and still are, important to the Mayas of the region. Take the "Mayan Sacrifice", a 15-foot cliff jump into the cenote, or just relax and refresh yourself in its cool, clear waters.

Next we'll venture underground, where we'll snorkel in the underground river itself, a dramatic experience, complete with stalactites and stalagmites above and below the water. After working up an appetite, we'll enjoy a delicious Mayan lunch, a real treat.

Finally, we'll visit a beautiful lagoon where you will experience the salt water side of the aquatic ecosystem. The lagoon teems with beautiful tropical fish, brightly colored coral, and exotic marine creatures like sea turtles and stingrays. That's three amazing snorkeling adventures in one exciting tour!
