Spend a very special day with the world's most beloved animals, the playful dolphins. This is an amazing opportunity to have what for most people is a lifetime memory with your family. The dolphin encounter is especially rewarding for families with young children.

With the dolphin encounter, you will stand on an underwater platform and get the exciting experience of interacting with real live dolphins. They will kiss you, sing for you, hug you, let you feel their special skin, and do funny tricks for you. A wonderful excursion!

Cruise Passengers: This is a perfect shore excursion for cruise passengers visiting Costa Maya. As you walk off the ship, look to your left, and you'll see the dolphin center. Doesn't get any easier than that! If you are with Carnival Cruise Lines, click here for important information.

Included Activities: Kiss, Touch, Handshake, Sing

Duration: Approximately 1 Hour

Schedule: Twice Daily at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM

*Kids: The minimum age to participate is 1 year old, and must be big enough to fit in a children's life vest. Kids under 2' 11" tall participate free of charge with a paying adult. In order to receive this promotion, don't include your free child in the reservation when booking, only write your request for them in the special instructions box. Kids under 3' 11" require a paying adult to be in the water with them. Kids over 3' 11" years old can do the activity by themselves.

Location: The Dolphin Center is located close to the cruise pier in Mahahual, Costa Maya. For Majahual guests, it is either a moderate walk or a short taxi ride, depending on the location of your hotel. For cruise passengers, it's only to walk over.

Important: The dolphin swim activity is very popular, and sells out early. Make sure to reserve well in advance to guarantee an opportunity to swim with the dolphins!

Carnival Cruise Line Passengers: The dolphin center no longer allows us to offer our great deals on dolphin swims to Carnival cruise passengers. Luckily, the dolphins are the only excursion that doesn't want us to save you money, so you can still book any of our other excursions here and help support local Costa Maya residents and businesses while saving huge amounts of money over inflated ship prices. This applies only to Carnival Cruise Line passengers. All other cruise passengers can book this excursion and save big money!

To make a reservation: Click "Book Now" at the top of the page. You will receive a voucher via e-mail within 24 hours (in most cases) that you will print out and bring with you to Costa Maya.
