An ecological journey through the jungles and history of the Costa Maya, this tour is designed for nature lovers from around the world. Visit Rancho El Anca, where your guide will escort you through the jungle to a recently uncovered Mayan Ruins site. Next, your guide will take you to see a Haltun, the ancient wells of the Maya.

Learn about the symbiotic relationships between native plants, trees and wildlife, learn how chewing gum is made, and spot beautiful tropical birds, hawks, and butterflies. You may spot coati mundi, deer, iguanas, tejones, or on that rare but incredibly special occasion, even a rare jaguar or panther in the distance.

Includes: Round trip transportation from the Tequila Beach Club (about three minutes by taxi from the cruise ship pier), Multi-Lingual tour guide (Spanish, English, French, Italian), Water, Soft Drinks.

Tour Schedule: Five times daily at 7:30AM, 9:30AM, 11:30AM, 1:30PM, and 3:30PM.

Bring: Biodegradable Sunscreen, Hat, Camera, Long Pants, Shoes, Insect Repellent

Duration: 2 Hours Approximately

To make a reservation: Click "Book Now" at the top of the page. You will receive a voucher via e-mail within 24 hours (in most cases) that you will print out and bring with you to Costa Maya.

DEPOSIT ONLY: This tour requires only an $7.00 deposit per adult and $4.00 per child at the time of booking. The rest is payable on the day of the tour. Other websites require you to pay in full in advance - not us.
NO CANCELLATION FEE: If cancelled within 24 hours of activity date, or if cancelled due to circumstances out of your control. If it's within 24 hours, you are only out your small deposit, even if you no-show. Compare that with other website's cancellation policies!
NO PORT, NO PAY POLICY: If for any reason your cruise ship doesn't stop in Costa Maya, or doesn't port the day it was supposed to, you will receive a full refund of your excursions. We understand that this happens, and we want to make sure there is never a risk to book an excursion with us.
