The white sand beaches of the Riviera Maya are a sight to behold - contrasting brilliantly to the bluest water on earth - the Caribbean Sea. Now you can experience this breathtaking scene in a whole new way - on horseback!

Take a journey through the mangroves and lagoons of the Riviera Maya on your way to the beach. Once on the beach, you'll ride in the sand like a scene out of a storybook. After your ride, you can stay and enjoy the beach club, including the restaurant, bar, lounge chairs, swimming, and palapa umbrellas.

Horseback Riding Tour

Tour Schedule: Three times daily at 9:00AM, 12:00PM, and 3:00PM

Duration: Riding time is approximately 1.5 Hours. You can stay and use the beach club all day long if you like.

Departs: Pick-up and Drop-off from your Riviera Maya hotel is available for an additional fee (see below). If you have your own transportation, you can meet at the ranch, about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.

There is a 2 person minimum for transportation (singles pay for 2).

Optional: Gallop on the beach! Experienced riders can have an opportunity to gallop your horse along the water's edge for $25.00 per person extra.

Kids: Ages 6 and up. Kids same price as adults.

Restrictions: Weight limit is 240 lbs (110 kg).

Note: Due to increased Sea Turtle habitat preservation, this tour no longer rides entirely on the beach. Most of the riding is now done on sandy trails above the beach, but with full views of the sea. The trails weave in and out of jungle terrain but you always have an ocean view. The tour does ride on the beach at various locations, just not entirely like it used to.
