CANCUN HORSEBACK RIDING TOURS

Cancun horseback riding is a different way to explore Cancun's magnificent oceanside splendor.  There are very few horseback riding tours in Cancun, but we'll show you the ones that there are!  You can ride up and down the beach, through the Jungle, or through the desert of the Yucatan, whichever is your favorite!  Tours depart from either Cancun, Playa Del Carmen or the Riviera Maya!

Frequently Asked Questions about Cancun Horseback Riding

Q: Can I ride on the Beach?
A: Yes!  Punta Venado and the Horseback Riding & Snorkeling Combo include riding along the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean Sea.  You ride in the jungle as well as along the beach, but there are sections to ride along the beach and you always have a view of the sea.  Paradise is mostly jungle but you emerge onto the beach, while Punta Venado is mostly beach with a little jungle.  You can also ride on the beach with our Camel Safari.

Q: Will we get to swim with our horses in the ocean?
A: No.  In an effort to preserve the delicate marine ecosystem, horseback riding into the ocean is no longer allowed at any ranch in or near Cancun.

Q: Do you pick up at my hotel or cruise ship?
A:  Yes, all of our horseback riding tours will pick you up at your Cancun hotel.  Cruise ship passengers would meet at the ferry pier in Playa del Carmen.

Q: This is my first time riding a horse, can I do these tours?
A:  Yes!  These are tourist class rides - most people that do them have never ridden, or only a few times.

Q: Is their a weight limit for these horseback riding tours?
A: Yes.  There is a 120 kg (250 lb.) weight limit for all of our horseback riding tours, except Paradise which is 265 lbs.
