This fascinating and unique tour will take you on the route of the Caste War of Yucatan, an epic struggle between the Mayas and the Spanish occupiers in the late 1800s. We will visit 17th century churches, ancient ruins, and Mayan villages along this historical route.

We will visit the Mayan colonial village of Valladolid, where we'll visit the cozy town square and it's famous church. Next we'll visit the village of Tepich, the birthplace of the Caste War ,where we'll see a church and a very old cemetery.

In the village of Tihosuco, we'll visit a special church with a polished baptismal stone dated from 1730 and a site museum, before heading to Saban and it's historical church. After the historical part of the tour is over, we'll head on an ecological journey around the Yucatan.

We'll stop at Sacalac Cenote, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in this freshwater jungle pool. Then it's lunchtime at Ki Jaa nal, a Mayan restaurant. After lunch, we'll kayak over a Mayan lagoon, simply magnificent. There is no other tour in Cancun quite like this one - a true Mayan experience.
