An exciting eco-tour opportunity in Playa del Carmen! Your day of adventure will take you to the Sian Kaan Biosphere, over 1 million acres of protected Mayan jungle and wilderness area, where you'll enjoy kayaking through the mangrove-lined wetlands, spotting for birds. After beach combing along one of Sian Kaan's famous virgin white-sand beaches, you'll cool off by swimming and snorkeling in a Cenote, an amazing underground river with crystal-clear fresh water. All the while, your biologist guide will enlighten you about the area's ecosystem. |

Itinerary:
8:00 AM - Pickup from your Playa del Carmen Hotel
10:00 AM - Arrive at Sian Kaan - Arrival to Sian Ka’an reserve and receive a brief explanation about the biosphere reserve by an experienced Biologist. View the reserve from the observation tower.
10:50 AM - Kayaking - Kayak trip through the wetlands, as your expert biologist guide will amaze you with his knowledge about the biosphere and the birds and wildlife you may see along the route.
12:00 PM - Visitor's Center - Snacks in the Sian Kaan visitor center. Explanation of the visitor center ecological functions.
12:30 PM - Beach Combing - Hike to the beautiful virgin beach of Sian Kaan for a little beach combing.
2:00 PM - Snorkel in a Cenote - Visit Beh Ha Cenote and enjoy snorkeling in a fascinating underground river.
3:30 PM - Mayan Lunch - Enjoy a Mayan lunch at a local Tulum restaurant.
4:30 PM - Leave Sian Kaan for home.
Cruise Passengers: This tour is not compatible with most cruise schedules.
Tour Schedule: This tour runs Wednesdays and Fridays only.
Duration: 12 Hours Approximately
Departure: Complimentary Pickup from your Riviera Maya hotel or the Ferry Pier in Playa del Carmen (if you're staying in Cozumel).
