Bottom fishing is where you drop lines straight down and deep while drifting, rather than trolling like with deep sea fishing. Bottom fishing often yields higher catch numbers than deep sea fishing, but the fish are generally much smaller.

This is a popular option for families or people who don't care about catching big fish, but would rather just maximize their chances of reeling something in. We offer four boat types for all group sizes and budgets. These are private charters - just you and your crew.

Prices are for the whole boat, not per person, and are in U.S. Dollars. We require only a $150 deposit to hold your boat. Make sure to book ahead, these trips sell out well in advance.

Departs: Marina Puerto Aventuras (15 min. south of Playa del Carmen) or the Fisherman's Pier in Puerto Morelos (30 min. north of Playa del Carmen). Puerto Morelos departures are only available for 6 hour and 8 hour trips on Full Size or larger boats. Taxis are readily available at all Riviera Maya hotels to take you to the marina.

Tour Schedule: 4 Hour trips run at 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily. 6 hour and 8 hour trips run on your schedule every day - you can specify the start time.

Duration: 4 hour, 6 hour, or 8 hour trips available.
