Rappel into a cenote, where you can float on innertubes and swim, ride a zip line 300 feet in the air, canoe across a Mayan lagoon, feast on a home-cooked Mayan lunch, and of course visit the amazing Coba Mayan Ruins, where you can even climb the great pyramid!

Itinerary:

7:00 AM - Pickup from your Riviera Maya hotel.

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM - Arrive at Pac Chen Mayan Village, where you'll do the following adventures:

Canoeing - Explore the beautiful Laguna Mojarras, where your guide will help you see and identify local bird life as you canoe peacefully through the lagoon with your Mayan guide.

Ride a Zip Line - Arrive at Caiman Cenote, where you'll fly high over a lake on a zip line - 300 meters!

Rappelling into Jaguar Cenote - Get the party started with an exciting rappel into Jaguar Cenote, where named for the most powerful animal in the Mayan world due to it's unique shape of a jaguar skull.  Lower yourself 45 feet (17 meters) into the crystal-clear fresh water, where you can float on inntertubes or swim.

Mayan Feast - Make your way to the Mayan Village of Pac Chen, where your Mayan hosts will serve you a home cooked meal with traditional Mayan ingredients.  Enjoy a beautiful lagoon view while you eat.

2:30 PM - Arrive at Coba Mayan Ruins

Coba Mayan Ruins - Take a guided tour of this magnificent Mayan archaeological site.  Climb the great pyramid of Nohoch Muul, see the Mayan Ball Court, where they once had sporting events, and gasp as your guide shares with you tidbits of the Mayan civilization, it's advanced nature, and it's mysterious fall.

Note: Some days Coba may be first, other days, Pac Chen may be first.

Kids: All ages are welcome. Children under the age of 6 years may participate under the supervision of a responsible parent or family member.

Restrictions: This expedition is not suitable for any persons with severe physical or motor handicaps or serious heart problems, nor for any who are obese, nor those who are not able to handle some physical activity. It is definitely not recommended for pregnant women.  Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition.
