Just a ferry ride across the channel from the Riviera Maya lies Cozumel, Mexico's largest island, and home to some of the world's most famous snorkeling reefs.  Cozumel is also the world's busiest cruise destination.  It's only town is San Miguel, where you'll get to explore.

We'll ride the high-speed water taxi over to the island, where we'll board a glass bottom boat for our trip to the coral reefs.  We'll snorkel on two reefs, then refresh ourselves with soft drinks and beer on the boat before heading back to San Miguel's cozy downtown area.

Here we'll eat lunch at a local Mexican restaurant, where we'll order lunch from the menu.  After lunch, you'll have about 2 hours to explore on your own, shopping in Cozumel's downtown area, taking photographs, visiting some of the local establishments such as Carlos N Charlie's, Hard Rock Cafe or Margaritaville, or relaxing on the beach. 

We'll board the ferry for the trip back to Playa del Carmen, usually being treated to a beautiful sunset on the return trip (depending on the time of year).  From there we'll take you back to your hotel.  Quite a full day of snorkeling, eating, drinking, taking photos and shopping!

Tour Schedule:  Monday through Saturday at approximately 9:00 AM.  Return is about 7:00 PM.  See hotel pick-up note below.  Exact pick-up time will vary depending on the location of your hotel, but will be specified on your confirmation voucher. 

* Hotel Pick-Up:  There is no hotel pick-up for this tour south of Playa del Carmen.  Guests staying in areas south of Playa del Carmen will either need to meet this tour at Plaza Antigua in Playa del Carmen or book the very similar Cozumel Complete tour instead.  Hotel pick-up for guests staying north of Playa del Carmen is available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  Pick-ups on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are only available at the following specified meeting points.  There is no hotel pick-up on these days, so you'll need to walk or take a taxi to one of those locations.  All options include drop-off at  the pick-up location.

Duration:  11 Hours Approximately.

Departs:  Free pick-up and drop-off at your Riviera Maya hotel (in most cases, see Hotel Pick-Up note above for details).

Kids: All ages welcome.  Kids prices apply to ages 5-10 years old.  Kids under 5 years old are free, and do not need to be booked for.
