We offer Cancun bottom fishing trips in addition to our deep sea fishing. Bottom fishing is done by dropping lines straight down and deep while drifting, as opposed to trolling like deep sea fishing. It is usually a bit more interactive than deep sea fishing, and a bit more consistent.

We like to recommend bottom fishing for families with kids, as the fish are much smaller and easier for the youngsters to handle. They are also usually good eating. With a full day trip, we can visit the small island of Isla Mujeres, where a local restaurant can cook your catch for you. You can also do a deep sea & bottom fishing combo.

With a combo trip, you can try your hand at both, and it gives you flexibility. If deep sea fishing isn't yielding the results you want, you can drop back and try bottom fishing for snapper, grouper, triggerfish and other assorted reef fish. Of course, if it's going well, you don't have to switch!

Prices are for the whole boat, not per person, and are in U.S. Dollars. $250 deposit is required at the time of reservation to hold your boat. The remainder is paid in cash on the day of the trip. You also have the option to pay in full with a credit card. Certain boats require payment in full at the time of reservation.

Schedule: Daily at 7:00AM (all durations) and 2:00 PM (only for 4 hour trips).

Departure: All boats depart from Marina in the Cancun Hotel Zone. Transportation to the Marina not included, but it is easy to just take a taxi or the bus from your hotel, or we can provide round-trip transportation for you for $10.00 per person, payable in cash on the day of the trip.

Kids: All ages welcome.

Note: A dock fee of approximately $3.00 per person may need to be paid in cash on the day of the trip. This is charged by the pier owner, not us, and must be paid directly to the marina personnel.
