The day begins with horseback riding through the mangroves and past brackish lagoons as you ride through the remote trails of the Yucatan. You'll then emerge onto the crystal white beaches the Mayan Riviera is so famous for.

You'll get to ride on the beach, and then you can swim in the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean Sea at our special beach club, where you can also use the bar & restaurant and lounge chairs. A unique experience that you'll remember for years to come.

Horseback Riding Tour

Cruise Passengers: This tour is a great cruise shore excursion. The ranch is only a few minutes from the Calica cruise pier. Just take a taxi to the ranch, and you won't have any additional transportation fees to pay.

Tour Schedule: Three times daily at 9:00AM, 12:00PM, and 3:00PM

Departs: Pick-up and Drop-off from your Playa del Carmen hotel is available for $12.00 per person, to be paid in cash upon pick-up. There is a 2 person minimum for transportation (singles pay for 2). If you have your own transportation, you can meet at the ranch, about 10 minutes south of town. For pick-up in areas north of Playa del Carmen town, such as Playa Paraiso or Puerto Morelos, the transportation fee is $18.00 per person.

Duration: The ride is about 1.5 hours. You can stay and use the beach club all day if you like.

Optional: Gallop on the beach! Experienced riders can have an opportunity to gallop your horse along the water's edge for $25.00 per person extra.

Kids: Ages 6 and up. Kids same price as adults.

Restrictions: Weight limit is 240 lbs (110 kg).

Note: Due to increased Sea Turtle habitat preservation, this tour no longer rides entirely on the beach. Most of the riding is now done on sandy trails above the beach, but with full views of the sea. The trails weave in and out of jungle terrain but you always have an ocean view. The tour does ride on the beach at various locations, just not entirely like it used to.
