One of our award-winning Adventure Series tours, the popular Jungle Maya Extreme now offers a combo with a visit to the Tulum Mayan Ruins! The tour starts with a 2 hour visit to Tulum, where you'll take photographs and learn about the ancient history of this great city. Descend into a magnificent cenote, where you'll snorkel in this crystal-clear fresh-water cavern, admiring the limestone formations and stalactites. Witness a real Mayan purification ceremony, just as the Mayans have held for centuries, and eat a home-cooked lunch as you learn about the Mayan culture. Finish off your adventure with some zip line excitement, as you zip on three lines, as much as 530 feet (160m) long, over a lake! This is one of the Riviera Maya's most unique and interesting tours - it not only offers you an off-the-beaten-track adventure, but you'll leave with a feeling that you've really visited the Riviera Maya, and a deeper appreciation of it's past. |

Restrictions: This expedition is not recommended for people with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicap, serious heart problems, or for obese people or for those who suffer from claustrophobia or do not know how to swim. Children under 6 years, pregnant women and people under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum height is 3.6 ft (1.10 m). Weight Limit is 264 lbs (120 kg) for the Zip Line and Rappelling. People over the weight limit can still do the rest of the tour.
