This Chichen Itza tour aims to please.  After complimentary pickup from your Riviera Maya hotel in an air-conditioned motorcoach or van, you'll be transported back in time to the lost civilization of the Mayas, and one of their primary cities, Chichen-Itza. After a short stop for facilities, the next stop is the Casa del Mayab, where you'll be treated to a delicious buffet lunch while watching traditional folkloric music and dancing.  Included with your lunch are 2 drinks (beer, soft drinks or water).

After lunch, you'll embark on a guided tour of the Chichen Itza archaeological site, while your expert guide enlightens you to the mystical world of the Maya.  After the tour is over, you will have free time to explore and take pictures, as well as shop for souvenirs.  Then we'll head for a Mayan cenote, where you'll have an opportunity to cool off with a swim or just relax and take photos, before heading for home.

Tour Schedule: Daily at approximately 8:30 AM.  Exact pick-up time will vary depending on your hotel but will be shown on your e-ticket.

Duration: Approximately 12 Hours.

We Recommend You Bring:

• Suncreen - A must.  Temperatures at Chichen Itza top 90°F most days, and there is little shade.  See our Biodegradable Sunscreen.

• Camera - This goes without saying.

• Pocket money - There are a variety of shops in and around Chichen Itza - you may wish to buy something.

• Hat - You'll want some type of hat to protect you from the sun.

• Guidebook - Your guide is very good, but when you have time on your own, you may wish to refresh your memory about the temples. You may also wish to read about the Mayan Ruins on the bus trip.

• Swimsuit - If you want to swim at the Cenote.

Kids:  All ages welcome.  Kids prices apply to ages 4-11.  Kids 0-3 are free, but if they need a seat by themselves then a $20.00 fee applies.
