This is our top-end tour to the Mayan Ruins of Chichen Itza.  You'll ride in an air-conditioned luxury motorcoach, as you're served a continental breakfast and beverages on board the bus.  Our deluxe buses also have restrooms on board, which is nice. You'll be waited on hand and foot on your long drive to and from Chichen Itza.  Drive through the colonial town of Valladolid, and stop at famous Ik Kil Cenote.  Once at the ruins, you'll enjoy a buffet lunch and a fun folkloric show before your guided tour begins.

Your expert guide will share with you the history and legends of the ancient Mayan civilization at Chichen Itza, enthralling you in the majesty of these amazing people. 

Cruise Passengers:  This tour is not compatible with most cruise schedules.  We suggest visiting Tulum or Coba instead.

Tour Schedule: Daily at 8:00 AM.  Exact Hotel Pick-up time will vary depending on the location of your hotel, but will be specified in your confirmation.

Duration: 12 Hours Approximately

Departs:  Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at your Playa del Carmen hotel.  If you are staying in downtown Playa del Carmen, you will meet at either Plaza Antigua or the Royal Playa del Carmen.  Playacar guests will meet at Plaza Playacar.  These are walking distance to almost all downtown or Playacar hotels, and the meeting locations help us cut down significantly on hotel pick-up and drop-off time and get you quicker to the ruins.  We will send you a map with your confirmation voucher.

Kids: All ages are welcome.  Kids prices apply to ages 5-12.  Kids under 5 are free and don't need to be reserved.  Just write them in the special instructions when booking.

We Recommend You Bring:

• Swimsuit and Towel - If you want to swim in the Cenote.

• Suncreen - A must.  Temperatures at Chichen Itza top 90°F most days, and there is little shade.  If you will be swimming at Ik Kil, only Biodegradable Sunscreen may be used.

• Camera - This goes without saying.

• Pocket money - There are a variety of shops in Chichen Itza - you may wish to buy something.

• Hat - You'll want some type of hat to protect you from the sun.

• Guidebook - Your guide is very good, but when you have time on your own, you may wish to refresh your memory about the temples. You may also wish to read about the Mayan Ruins on the bus trip.
