Tulum, built on a cliff at the seas edge,
believed to have been the largest port for the Mayans, and
Coba, beautiful and
mysterious, built in the jungle with
towering pyramids.
Tulum has some of the most breathtaking views of the Yucatan
coast and Coba has breathtaking views of the Yucatan Jungle from the tops
of its magnificent pyramids.
Tulum will take about an hour and a half to visit. The
remainder of your tour will be at Coba, where you can climb the
great pyramid Nohoch Muul.

Add-On: Mayan Home Visit
Stop at a small
Mayan Village and visit a Mayan family house showing you a little
about how the Mayan people live today. Here you can try a classic
Yucatan chicken taco homemade and they can show you how they make
tortillas. The family also offers a few handmade souvenirs.
Add $5 per person.
Add-On: Visit to 2 Cenotes
Trip to two cenotes
(underground grottos). Both are inside caves but are completely
different. Bring your bathing suits and towels! They have platforms
to jump in the fresh water! Add $10 per person.

Nohoch Muul pyramid is the
highest temple in the Yucatan and you'll feel like Indiana Jones as you
gaze across the tropical jungle. A must see tour.
You and your group go directly from your hotel to the
Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba Mexico. The private tours are for your
group only and therefore you plan the day. We do not offer this tour as a
public bus tour.
Cruise Passengers:
This is a great option for you. Cozumel cruise passengers will be
picked up at the Playa del Carmen ferry pier. Calica cruise
passengers can be picked up at the Calica cruise pier.
TOUR SCHEDULE: Upon request - the driver is
yours for up to 10 hours. He will be happy to make stops along the
way for lunch or shopping, but cannot go off the tour route without
advance notice.

Itinerary for Tulum Coba Tour:
Hotel pick up
is up to you but we suggest 7-8 am
Go to Tulum
first, where you can hire a guide for around $40 usd for a 90 minute
tour or just explore on your own.
The driver
can suggest traditional Mexican restaurants for lunch.
Coba is
located about 50 km west of Tulum, where you can climb the ruins and
explore. At Coba you can also hire a guide - there are also bicycles and
rickshaws available for rent.
Then
transportation back to your hotel
Bring: Sunblock (SPF 30 or higher), hat, camera, extra
t-shirt, sunglasses, money for lunch, souvenirs and tips, and extra water.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Tours are made in air-conditioned vans, not buses.
Therefore, the maximum number of people to a vehicle is 10. If you
have more people in your group, you will need two vehicles. The transportation
cost is fixed - that's why more people in a vehicle makes the price per
person go down.
This tour requires a
15% deposit at the time of booking
via Credit Card or PayPal. The remainder is payable in cash
on the day of the tour.
There is no cancellation fee if cancelled or changed
before noon the day before the tour.
Child seats
are available upon request.
