The Beginner Course lasts about an hour, where you go over all the basic skills you'll need to perform scuba diving at depths of up to 30 feet.  After the course, you'll embark on a whole new underwater world where you'll see up close the underwater ecosystem of the Caribbean Sea.  Beginner Course divers and experienced certified divers will not dive at the same location - the location will be fitted to the experience level of the divers.

Non-divers in your group?  No problem!  They can enjoy the facilities of our Tequila Beach Club while you dive! 

SPECIAL OFFER: If you book this tour you will be eligible for passes to the Tequila Beach Club at discounted prices. You must FIRST book your scuba diving excursion to receive this offer.

Requirements:  Scuba diving requires proof of certification from a scuba diving agency such as PADI, NAUI, SSI, etc.  If you do not have a C-Card, you will need to choose to take the beginner course in order to enjoy scuba diving in Costa Maya.

Includes: Divemaster in the water with you, All Equipment (you can bring yours if you like, but you don't need to), Water and soft drinks, Use of the Tequila Beach Club Facilities.

Tour Schedule: Daily - Time depends on your schedule.  We'll make it work for you.

Bring: Sunblock, Swimsuit, Certification Card (Certified Divers Only), Sunglasses, Hat, any of your own dive gear you wish to use on your dive.

Duration: 1.5 to 3 Hours depending on which option you choose.

• DEPOSIT ONLY: This tour requires only 20% deposit at the time of booking.  The rest is payable on the day of the tour. Other websites require you to pay in full in advance - not us.

• NO CANCELLATION FEE: If cancelled within 24 hours of activity date, or if cancelled due to circumstances out of your control. If it's within 24 hours, you are only out your small deposit, even if you no-show.  Compare that with other website's cancellation policies!

• NO PORT, NO PAY POLICY: If for any reason your cruise ship doesn't stop in Costa Maya, or doesn't port the day it was supposed to, you will receive a full refund of your excursions.  We understand that this happens, and we want to make sure there is never a risk to book an excursion with us.
