Xcaret is a wonderful way to spend a day of your Playa del Carmen vacation, and it is a great location for families - there is so much to do, kids and adults alike!  Float in the clear blue water, lounge in hammocks, explore the exhibits, or relax at the restaurants and bars.

Every visitor to Playa del Carmen should visit Xcaret at least once.  There is nowhere in the world quite like it.

Tour Schedule:  Monday through Saturday.

Itinerary:  (Approximate)

  9:30 AM - Hotel Pick Up (or Plaza Antigua or Plaza Playacar)
10:00 AM - Arrive at Xcaret
  6:00 PM - Xcaret at Night! (7:00 PM in Summer)
  8:00 PM - End Night Show (9:00 PM in Summer)
  8:30 PM - Depart for Playa del Carmen (9:30 PM in Summer)
  9:00 PM - Back in Playa del Carmen (10:00 PM in Summer)

Our Advice: If you want a buffet lunch included (rather than small items like hamburgers) then we recommend the Xcaret Plus.  It is a better deal, and the buffet restaurants inside Xcaret are expensive, about $29.00 per person.  However, if you are on a budget, plan to eat at the snack bars, and don't care about snorkeling, then this tour will be cheaper for you.

Departure: Pickup at or near your Playa del Carmen or Playacar Hotel.

Return: You can choose to leave the park before the night show at 5:00 PM or after the show at 8:00 PM (9:00 PM in Summer).

Kids: All ages are welcome.  Kids prices apply to kids 5-11 years old.  Kids over 55" tall will need to show a picture identification verifying age.  Kids under 5 years old are free.

IMPORTANT: Xcaret will not allow you to bring your regular sunblock into the park, as part of the ongoing effort to protect the environment.  It will be confiscated at the gate unless it is biodegradable. See Biodegradable Sunscreen.

NO CANCELLATION FEE - You can change the date of your tour or cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the tour with no cancellation fee or other charges. No risk, no worries.
