On the northern tip of Cozumel is a fly fishing and bonefishing paradise made up of three lovely flats fishing lagoons, all teeming with hungry bonefish. These lagoons are quite shallow from 3” – 18”, a fly or light tackle angler’s dream come true.  Each lagoon has the ideal flats fishing habitat and environment to attract bonefish, permit, tarpon, and other sport fish.

Bonefish are plentiful twelve months a year. In season, you may also have a good chance at a Grand Slam and get a bonefish, a baby tarpon to 20# and maybe the elusive permit. During the months of March to September it is also possible to catch really large permit of 20 pounds or larger. You may also have shots at baby Snook in their season, barracuda, snapper, triggerfish and other sport fish of the flats.

Never done fly fishing before?  No problem, our expert fly fishing guides will show you the ropes.

Note: Charters are private for 1-2 people. We can take a third angler for $50.00 extra. Four anglers will need to charter two boats.

Schedule: Daily at 6:00 AM. Our schedules are 100% flexible though, so if you want to start later, that is not a problem, just ask. Cruise passengers see the note below.

Departs: Marina Puerto Abrigo, about 3 minutes north of the ferry pier downtown.  If you are staying in Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya, you can take the ferry to Cozumel to meet your boat. If you are staying in Riviera Cancun or Puerto Morelos, you may want to consider Cancun Fly Fishing - it's closer.

Cruise Passengers: We are 100% flexible to fit your cruise ship schedule, and we offer Cozumel's best No-Port, No-Pay policy so you don't have to worry.  We suggest to start your trip about 1 hour after your cruise ship's scheduled arrival time.  The boat is about 2 minutes by taxi from the Playa Langosta cruise pier, and about 8 minutes from the International and Puerta Maya cruise piers. Taxis are all lined up waiting for you as you exit the ship.
