Built in 1991 by Thomas Leman, Puerto Aventuras Golf Course is unique in it's status of being the only sub-$100 par-4 golf course in the Playa del Carmen area. It's the oldest golf course in the area, but is still well maintained and is a great alternative for golfing on a budget in Playa. Puerto Aventuras Golf Club is located approximately 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, and is easily reached by taxi. This is a public course, unlike the other ones in Playa del Carmen, which gives it a different feel. The Bermuda Grass fairways are surrounded by palm trees, tropical ficus and lush foliage. |
