This Chichen Itza tour is all about luxury, style and adventure.  After complimentary pickup from your Riviera Maya hotel, we'll cruise to Chichen Itza in style aboard our deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach with two restrooms on board, with drinks and breakfast provided. Once at the ruins site, you'll be transported back in time to the lost civilization of the Mayas, and one of their primary cities, Chichen-Itza, one of the largest cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities. Take a guided tour of this site, and learn about what makes this ancient city and its people so amazing. After your Chichen Itza tour, we will visit the colonial Mayan town of Valladolid.  You can walk the cozy town square and visit the famous San Bernardino Convent.  After lunch at a local Mayan restaurant, we'll visit Zaci cenote and learn about its importance.

Tour Schedule: Monday to Saturday between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Return to Playa del Carmen is about 7:30 PM. The exact pick-up time will depend on the location of your hotel, but will be specified on your confirmation.

We Recommend You Bring:

• Sunscreen - A must.  Temperatures at Chichen Itza top 90 F most days, and there is little shade.  See our Biodegradable Sunscreen.

• Camera - This goes without saying.

• Pocket money - There are a variety of shops in and around Chichen Itza - you may wish to buy something.

• Hat - You'll want some type of hat to protect you from the sun.

• Guidebook - Your guide is very good, but when you have time on your own, you may wish to refresh your memory about the temples. You may also wish to read about the Mayan Ruins on the bus trip.

• Swimsuit - If you want to swim at the Cenote.
