This activity is performed while standing on an underwater platform - there is no swimming, but rather interacting with the dolphins in the water.  The water is about chest deep, as you can see in the photo.  We also recommend this activity for adults who are not comfortable in deep water, are disabled, or who just don't have the budget for the other activities, but still want a chance to be close to the dolphins.  No park admission fees are required for this dolphin swim, and free shuttle is available from Riviera Maya hotels. 
 

Cruise Passengers: This activity is located in Puerto Aventuras, just a few minutes from the Calica / Playa del Carmen cruise pier.  You can just take a taxi from the pier, very easy.  This tour features a NO-PORT, NO-PAY policy.  If your cruise ship doesn't make port for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund.

Duration: Approximately 45 Minutes

Schedule: Four Times Daily at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM

*Kids:  The minimum age to participate is 1 year old, and must be big enough to fit in a children's life vest.  Kids 1-5 years old participate free of charge with a paying adult. In order to receive this promotion, don't include your child from 1-5 in the reservation when booking, only write your request for them in the special instructions box.  Kids 1-7 require a paying adult to be in the water with them.  Kids over 7 years old can do the activity by themselves.
