The mother of all Mayan Ruins excursions from the Riviera Maya, this tour takes you to visit not only Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the world, but also to many ruins sites that you can't see in a single day trip from the Riviera Maya.

We'll start at the capital city of the Yucatan, Merida, where we'll explore the Grand Plaza and have free time to explore on your own. Then it's off to Uxmal, perhaps the finest archaeological specimen in the Yucatan, where we'll watch the light and sound show and you can climb the great pyramid.

Next we'll visit Izamal, an ancient city dating back nearly 1,500 years, believed to be a magical city by the Mayas. The last stop on our journey is the mighty Chichen Itza, the most famous ruins site in the Riviera Maya.

ITINERARY:

FIRST DAY
7:15 AM	Departure from your hotel lobby, and travel to Merida. Historical tour of "La Plaza Grande", free time to explore, and check-in at the five star El Castellano Hotel.
1:45 PM	Depart for Uxmal. Guided tour of the ruins site followed by a delicious dinner and the spectacular light and sound show.
9:30 PM	Return to the Hotel for a good night's sleep.
SECOND DAY
8:30 AM	Check out of our hotel and head to Izamal. Visit the 16th century convent of San Antonio de Padua. Continue to Chichen Itza to visit this most famous ruins site.
2:00 PM	Lunch Time
6:30 PM	Return to the Riviera Maya
