Amazing Trip! So glad we booked the Deluxe Bus tour. I usually avoid tours, seeking a better price and experience going on our own. We did this trip via a tour because of the long distance, and the bathroom on the bus. But after seeing how great it was, I would not go any other way. Everything was quality. The guides were fun and so helpful. The information made the trip more interesting. After Chichen Itza, we went to Cenote San Lorenzo. Stunning/Magical. Fun rope swing. Dinner in Valladolid (La Casona). Best Mexican food we ever had. Being from Southern California, with lots of great Mexican food, this is a big compliment. IMPORTANT: 1. The main bus has a bathroom, BUT there was an hour of transfers (Playa del Carmen to Tulum) without a bathroom. (Don't Wait!) 2. The sun at Chichen Itza is brutal. Cover shoulders, neck, and feet, to avoid a sunburn. It was too windy to use our sun umbrella. A few days prior, we rented a car to visit Coba (major hassle). Being on this bus to Chichen Itza was such a relief, knowing I didn't have to deal with car rental and navigating, and it was great having a bathroom on the bus.

The driver was Miguel, and the guide was Margarita. The driver was polite. Margarita was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Mayan culture. She was funny, too. It is a long tour, and we traveled with a 4-year-old. So if you think you can't do this tour because of small children, you definitely can. There may be a few tantrums, but that is expected!

Alfredo and Gabriel were AMAZING. So professional and took the time to explain everything. We would totally recommend Playa del Carmen Tours! The buffet in Valladolid was fantastic. The cenote was busy but fantastic.
