Note:
Once in Chichen Itza you can hire an expert private tour guide at
the ruins entrance gate for about $60.00 USD for the whole group and the
guide will be with you for 90 minutes. Your driver will show you
where to go. You also have the option of just exploring on your
own without a guide. Also if you are planning to use a video
camera inside Chichen Itza, you will need to pay a $3.50 USD government video tax.
Kids: All ages are welcome. Kids are the same price as adults.
Restrictions:
- Backpacks are not allowed inside Chichen Itza. To help keep the site safe and well preserved, visitors are encouraged to bring only essential items and use small bags instead.
TOLL ROADS - Choose between the classic and toll routes to Chichen Itza. Toll roads save 45 mins each way, require payment in pesos (not USD/cards), currently 585 Pesos (approx. $35.00 USD) each way. Tolls may change without notice.
