This is a great introduction to the joys of scuba diving!  There is no experience or certification required to enjoy scuba diving in Playa del Carmen with this special diving activity.  Your PADI instructor will show you how to use the diving equipment and to breathe underwater.

He'll show you the basics, and get you feeling comfortable.  Once you feel ready, you'll get to go scuba diving on a beautiful coral reef.  Your instructor will be with you every step of the way, making sure you're comfortable, and showing you the wonders of the reefs.

Scuba Diving in Playa del Carmen

Cruise Passengers:  This tour may work with some cruise schedules.

Tour Schedule:  Monday to Saturday at 12:00 PM.

Duration:  Approximately 5 Hours

Departs: Pick-up at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel. Detailed instructions will accompany your confirmation.

Kids: Ages 10 and up.

Restrictions:  No alcohol before diving, no hangovers, no flying for at least 24 hours after diving.  All participants are required to fill out a Medical Questionnaire prior to diving. If you will answer yes to any of the listed items, you will need to bring a note from your doctor clearing you to scuba dive. This is a standard PADI form used by all PADI dive shops worldwide. Please review it prior to booking to determine if you will need to visit your doctor prior to your trip. People with limited mobility, recent surgeries or injuries, back problems, those who are pregnant, or those under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to participate in the tour or board the boat.

DEPOSIT ONLY - This tour requires only a deposit when booking - the remainder is paid in cash on the day of the tour.

Carmona was the head guide for our tour bus. Everything was amazing except for one detail. When I bought the trip they told me that the pick-up location would be in Plaza Antigua in front of Elite Lockers across from Hertz-Rent-A-Car. It was not. It *was* in Plaza Antigua, but it was at the bus stop next to the big sign that says "Plaza A", on the northbound side of the street, across from Budget-Rent-A-Car. It's about 20 meters to the right of where they told me(a few businesses up down the street). A few tour buses stopped on that street in the time that I waited, and the only reason I succeeded to catch the right bus was because I was waiting at the location I was told, and saw a bus about 20 meters away down the street a minute or two before the official pickup time, and started to get suspicious that that might be my bus. I walked over to the bus, and the first word out of the guide's mouth was my name, asking if that was me, so I knew. Other than that, this was an amazing experience I would recommend to anyone. I will never forget it.
