PRIVATE SIAN KA'AN & MUYIL MAYAN RUINS EXCURSION

Explore one of Mexico's largest parks. The Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve, inside the park you'll find the Muyil archaeological site.  Archaeologists are still researching the role of these pyramids in Muyil as an inland seaport which connected with the Caribbean via the Punta Allen Peninsula.

After exploring the ruins site we'll walk through a lush Sacbe (ancient road) surrounded by nature, this path stretches from the temples through the forest to the shore of the pristine lagoon of Chunyache, where we'll board a small boat to traverse the ancient Mayan commercial aquatic routes.

Then enjoy a relaxing boat trip in the Muyil and Chunyaxche lagoons, here we'll float in an ancient canal built more than a thousand years ago, and we will let the soft current carry us for as we enjoy the tranquility and the gentle sound of the wind.
