On this tour we will learn not only about the new Wonder of the World that is Chichen Itza, but we will discover what it really means to be Mayan. In addition to touring the ruins site, we will embrace the Mayan culture, spirituality, cuisine, numerology, astronomy and more. We will participate in a traditional Mayan ceremony, and learn to make the most traditional of all Mayan dishes - Pibil Chicken. After it is cooked we will enjoy our cooking for lunch, along with a selection of Mayan appetizers We will explore the Mayan language, and discover its most famous city. We will also witness The Mayan Universe, a new planetarium show. After lunch at the famous Mayaland Hotel, you will have an opportunity to visit the on-site Xtaloc cenote, or use the swimming pool, bar, hammocks and other facilities at the Mayaland Hotel. |
