The entry level dolphin swim at fantastic Xcaret Park, Interax is a direct interaction with the dolphins in the water. You will have about 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins, petting them, playing with them, and watching them do funny tricks. It's so fun! The dolphinarium is conveniently located inside Xcaret Park, so all you have to do is walk over when it's time to do your swim and then keep on enjoying your day at Xcaret. Make sure to buy the photos afterward, it's a memory you'll treasure forever! |

Cruise Passengers: This excursion is available as a cruise shore excursion in conjunction with your Xcaret Entrance. You can just take a taxi from the pier.
Location: Xcaret Park, about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. An Xcaret Tour is required to do this activity, unless you have a rental car and want to drive yourself. No other transportation is available. If driving yourself, or taking a taxi from your hotel, see our Discount Entrance Tickets.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.
Runs: Daily at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Park Hours: Daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

- $50.00 MXN fee per person for participating in activities with aquatic animals, paid in cash at check-in on the day of the tour.

Photos and videos of your dolphin swim will be available for purchase. For the safety of our dolphins, it is not allowed to enter the habitat with cameras, phones, or any audiovisual equipment.

Kids: Must be at least 3' 3" (100 cm) to participate. Kids under 8 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult. Kids 8 years old and up can do the swim by themselves. Have younger kids? See our Kids Dolphin Swim at Xcaret.
NOTE: Xcaret will not allow you to bring your regular sunblock into the park, as part of the ongoing effort to protect the environment. It will be confiscated at the gate unless it is biodegradable. See Biodegradable Sunscreen.
