For many years these warm, intelligent creatures have captivated us. Now you can get up close and swim with Atlantic Bottle-nosed dolphins in Chankanaab National Park. Chankanaab, meaning 'small sea', is a saltwater lagoon and botanical garden. The government has made it a beautiful wildlife sanctuary and an archaeological park.

This premium experience allows you to interact with two playful dolphins, greet them, and even join them in a lively splash war! It’s a magical experience perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking to connect with nature in a meaningful way.

Your adventure doesn’t end there! Admission to Chankanaab Park is included with your dolphin swim. This beautiful natural theme park offers stunning scenery, lush tropical gardens, and fantastic snorkeling opportunities. Dive into crystal-clear waters and be amazed by the colorful marine life that calls Cozumel home.

Cruise Passengers:  This activity is located inside of Chankanaab Park, just a few minutes from the cruise pier by taxi.  Taxis are lined up waiting for you as you walk off of your ship.  This tour features a NO-PORT, NO-PAY policy*.  If your cruise ship doesn't make port for any reason, you will receive a refund. Cruise passengers please contact us prior to booking to ensure that you are able to book this tour at our great discount price.

Duration: Approximately 1 Hour

Schedule: Monday to Saturday at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Optional:  Photos and videos of your swim will be available for purchase. Round-trip Transportation available from your hotel upon request at $15.00 USD per person. Make sure to type your request for transportation in the comments field when booking.

Kids: Ages 1 and up. Kids' prices apply to ages 6-12 years. Kids 1-5 years are free. Kids under 10 years old or under 4’ 6” tall (140 cm) must be accompanied by a paying adult (2 adults if under 4 feet (120cm) tall). Kids will perform age appropriate activities.

*No Port No Pay Details for Cozumel Dolphins: If your ship is diverted or delayed for any reason or does not make port, we can reschedule the same program for any date within the next year for no charge or we can refund your money in full, less a 10% bank transaction fee to cover credit card fees.  It's your choice which option is best for you.  You'll just need to e-mail a copy of the letter issued by the cruise line stating the situation.

IMPORTANT: A $50.00 MXN fee per person for participating in activities with aquatic animals will be charged in cash at check-in on the day of the tour.
